ArtSpace Cellular Photography Show 2009

Our Second Annual Cellular Photography Exhibition is coming soon! Last year we had over 200 images submitted and a busy night at the opening. Click here to see last year’s photographs cellular photography 2008.

Grab your camera phone (or a friend’s!) and hunt down that favorite image or go create something brand new, it is time to pull these wonderful images out of the shadows and up onto the walls of our gallery. Send in an image and enjoy joining friends and patrons for an unforgettable evening.
The night of the show, each photograph will be offered for only $1.00 and folks will be able to purchase the work off the wall as they wish when the event comes to a close! Come early to claim your favorite picture.

Because of the community-oriented nature of the venue, entries should be from DC Metro area residents or friends of the ArtSpace that have images and connections to the District. This show will be viewed by youth members of the ArtSpace and the greater community, therefore entries need to be edited accordingly. This is a ONE NIGHT ONLY event and is going to be an energizing experience for all who participate. Please review the attached legalese fine print below before submitting images!

Submissions due via email by April 20, 2009
Limit: 10 images per artist (we will print as many as we can!)

By Submitting to the ArtSpace CELLULAR PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW 2009 you agree to the following:
1. The submitter of the image states that he/she took the photograph, no rights were infringed upon in obtaining the photograph and that no releases or waivers are needed to publish the photograph.
2. The images submitted may be included in an ArtSpace publication to support the ArtSpace and to aid in publicizing the mission of the ArtSpace in either printed or electronic form. The photographer will receive no compensation for sales associated with the publication. While the publication is the property of the ArtSpace and may use any image as part of the publication, the photographer retains the image as his/her property.

1. Works selected for the show are at the sole discretion of the ArtSpace and all printing fees are paid for by the ArtSpace. The ArtSpace reserves the right to sell the images at the opening, with photographer credit, to offset the printing fees associated with the show, and as a tool to build community, without compensation to the photographer.
2. The submitted is 18 years or older or has stated his/her age above along with parent or guardian’s contact information.
