Darryl “13” Bennett is a painter and graphic designer who works mostly in acrylic. He was born and raised in Washington, DC, with artwork and style that has a real gritty urban feel splashed with his brand of imagination. Darryl states he can’t really say that he’s a self taught artist because he has picked up tips and techniques from other artist that he has crossed paths with and artists that he has studied. He paints, designs and lives under that Tokyo13 Brand.

His first art show in January 2007 called “No Scratcher” was a group show that showcased tattoo culture related artwork.

He is displaying his artwork at the ArtSpace Friday November 7, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
