Mika

Mika Altskan is a 15 year old photographer in Washington DC. Mika enjoys taking pictures of close up city life and city landscapes in DC and other countries he visits. Mika took three years of black and white dark room photography at the Patricia M Sitar Arts Center, where Mika learned photography techniques as well as developing pictures in the dark room. His photography is also available on an International Cultural Portal: IDEA Society, sponsored by UNISEF, where Mika is the youngest contributor to the organization. Mika’s “ Dupont Circle Fountain” picture was also featured on a Washington, DC Shmaps Guide 2008 edition. Following this exhibition he will have another at the Mount Pleasant Potter’s House in January 2009.
