Participants will learn the basic tenets of the darkroom including developing film, printing contact sheets and enlargements. Students will development enough skills to be able to work independently during the open studio if they choose.

The traditional darkroom experience is also a good way to escape into a quiet, relaxed world at the end of a long day. This class is suitable for beginners and flexible enough to act as a refresher for more experienced individuals.

Students will need their own Holga (we have a couple that you can borrow for the first week) or 35mm Manual Camera. One roll of film (120 or 35mm) per week is included. Photographic paper is available for purchase.
